Driftwood Beach Motel - Ormond Beach

Sitting on large private patio next to beach.

Nice location as it's and not far from the boardwalk and restaurants in the area, the ocean and the beach and restaurants and shops.

the standard double room with patio or balcony, facilities worked for us. variety of supplies in the room: central heating, multi-channel television and a mini-fridge. location just off the beach, restaurants in the area and souvenir shops.

Besides problems with bath tub everything was terrific. Wonderful Manager, effecient staff and great view of the ocean. The manager went out of his way for the minor inconvienences we ha. My mom and Dad will be staying here in two months.

It was very beautiful to see the sun rise right from the balcony and to see the quarter moon and planet at night. The resort wasn't brand new or anything but is was very accomodating and I felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommend!!! Decent price too.

Needs coffee! Kitchenettes need coffee pots!!! Should invest in wifi. Even the $30 night motels down the strip offered wifi. Def needs wifi.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Driftwood. The location cannot be beat! It is right on the beach, just a couple blocks north of Daytona, so a bit quieter than in the heart of the Daytona strip. Apparently, there are new owners, manager, and staff. Everyone is working diligently to make the Driftwood a clean, comfortable, friendly, at-home feeling hotel. We loved the new tile floors and the pool! We will definitely return!!!

The staff was great, the location is perfect. The room was neat and clean a good value for the price. Would stay here again.

We were supposed to have a king bed (we paid for an upgrade) and instead we were given 2 standard beds that were a bit uncomfortable however managable.

Driftwood Resort had a pool and was located directly on the beach.

Driftwood Resort needs to upgrade rooms such as appliances, etc.

The Dirftwood Resort was just far away but not that far from anything you wanted to do. We like the quiet of the place and the view of the ocean just outside of are window.

We like every thing about the Drtiftwood Resort. The ocean in the back yard.

The ocean view from my king room was fine. Easy access to the beach was a major highlight for me .

The location was excellent and easily accessable. The ocean views were incredible.

The motel is in need of further renovation and the parking lot is very small.

Hotel realy up to my expectation

I loved the location right on the beach. The ocean view from my room was amazing. Getting to the beach was so easy, perfect for sunset strolls. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere as the staff. The room was spacious, and having access to a kitchenette was handy for them. I found the shower curtain had mold, off-putting. Some areas of the hotel needed better maintenance, like the pool that looked filthy. Overall maintenance seemed lacking, especially in the pool area. The furniture felt outdated and could use some refreshing. I enjoyed my time, but improvements in cleanliness and upkeep are definitely needed.

The pool was beautiful.

Roaches, dirty stained thin sheets, old too soft pillows, no elevator to second or third floor and no help with luggage, thin small towels. I would never stay here again.
